Windows Explorer double click always opens new window

I’ve recently installed Internet Explorer 8 (to be honest: it was an auto update) and noticed that every time I double click in Windows Explorer it opens a new window. Of course there is Open every folder in new directory (or similar, I’m using localized Vista) option, but in fact, it wasn’t set. I’ve googled, tried to disable extensions, no luck. Apparently I found Thread on www.eggheadcafe.com.
* open a new "Command Prompt" window by right-clicking and selecting "Run
as administrator";
* at the prompt, run the command "regsvr32 actxprxy.dll".
